The touch of her hand
Set the wheel of romance
Spinning, spinning around
In a song and a dance
That led to their troth
And a walk down the aisle
To a house full of cares
And of kids--after while.
Though her galvanic touch
Put their world in a buzz,
They will never forget
All the laughter there was.
Now the reach of her hand
Is the fleeting cares
Of a leaf falling down. . .
A nostalgic "ah yes!"
