You need not go in quest of dreams,
For dreams will come to you:
A tenderness you thought had died,
A love long vanished from your side,
A faith that once you knew.
Tiptoe they move across the vale
To seek you in the night.
You walk again where once you strode
Through all the flaming episode
Of time in flight.
